Your lifetime product warranty, in plain words.
A lifetime product warranty on the lights and track, plus lifetime labour from us. If one stops working, email us.
How long each part is covered
Product coverage is Trimlight's. Read the full warranty. We go beyond it, which is why our labour is free for life.
| Part | Covered for |
|---|---|
| Roofline lights and track | Lifetime of the product |
| Landscape lights | 10 years |
| Globe lenses | 2 years |
| Ridge lights | 1 year |
| Installation (our labour) | Lifetime, free |

What "lifetime" means
The lights and track
Covered for their expected lifespan. Trimlight rates each light at 50,000 hours, about 20 to 30 years of nightly use.
Our work
Covered for life, service calls and travel included. If a covered part fails, you don't pay us to fix it.
A local crew
Repairs are handled by us, right here, without shipping parts away and waiting weeks to hear back.
How a service call works
Let us know
Email us within 30 days of noticing a problem. A quick photo or video helps.
We check it out
Lots of problems are a Wi-Fi or app setting we can sort out without a visit. If not, we book a visit.
We fix it
We swap out the failed part. Each light can be replaced on its own.
Labour, service calls and travel on covered repairs are free for life.
What isn't covered
We'd rather you know up front. Your home insurance may cover some of these.
- Storms, lightning, power surges and water or ice damage
- Damage from animals, or things hitting the lights
- Problems with your home Wi-Fi or internet
- Lights that were moved or changed by someone else
What people ask about the warranty
Do the lights hold up in our winters?
They're built to stay up year round, through snow, wind and freezing rain, and they hold up fine in our conditions here in Newfoundland.
What if I sell my house?
The lights stay with the house, but the warranty can't be transferred to a new owner. That goes for Trimlight's product warranty and our lifetime labour.
Do I need to register anything?
No. Your system gets registered when we install it, so there's nothing for you to do.
Are store-bought kits covered like this?
Most do-it-yourself kits come with a short warranty, and you're the one fixing it if something fails. With us, you get a lifetime product warranty, lifetime labour and someone local to email.
Lights you won't have to think about
Home or business, send us a few details and a picture. We'll get back to you with a price.
Every install comes with a lifetime product warranty and lifetime labour.
